Accessibility

Much Entrusted is for every church leader, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, or zoom to read. Last reviewed October 5, 2026.

Our Goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, on the website and in the app. It's the standard most often used to judge whether a site works for people with disabilities. We check against it as we build, and this page says where we still fall short.

What We Check

Automated checks run on every public page and the app's main pages, in light and dark mode. They catch things like a field with no label, or text too faint to read.

We also check by hand, the way people actually use the site:

  • With only a keyboard. Each page starts with a Skip to Content link, every button and field can be reached with Tab, and you can always see where you are.
  • Zoomed to 400%, or on a phone. Pages fit the screen without scrolling sideways. A few wide tables scroll inside themselves.
  • With wider letter and line spacing. Text stays readable, and nothing you need is hidden.
  • For screen readers. Every page has a heading that names it, every button and field has a name, and saving, errors, and changes are announced.

If your device is set to reduce motion, the site's animations are turned off.

Where We Fall Short

  • Charts. They're easiest to read by sight. Each bar tells a screen reader its figure, and every report can be printed. Two reports, Budget vs Actual and the Event Year Summary, also download as a spreadsheet. If a chart doesn't work for you, ask and we'll send you the figures.
  • PDFs. Packets are made with your browser's Print button, so how well a screen reader reads the PDF depends on the browser that made it.
  • Screen readers. We've checked what each page gives a screen reader, but we haven't tested with every screen reader yet. If something doesn't read the way it should with yours, please tell us.
